UPDATE!!!
It seems like we are going to have some issues with Thurs at Spot. Butch and I have a memorial to attend. The weather for us in the north is crap. And we knew Jan dates were slim pickings ( thanks to the sabres, bandits and professional boxers). Butch starts a new job and is leaving for a few weeks as of Sun- so postponing won't help.
So why don't we try what we discussed last meeting. And this way we can cancel our Jan date. Instead of having a physical meeting we can blog about Dahlia. This way Butch can participate too since he will be online at all times.
He will return from training in early feb and then maybe we can firm up a date for Feb. Plus it'll give us all some more time to get out of the post-christmas catch-up mode.
I invited a friend to join us and check it out. So if we see any blog posts from a new Kelly- that's her. We can start blogging about Dahlia on Thurs.

i'm down with it. I have a tentative schedule. I will be back in buffalo on Feb 2nd. I will leave on the 5th, for Indianapolis, back on 9th, then leaving on 13th back to indianapolis, back on 15th. then back from feb 20 - 22nd.
feb 27th - march 2nd - lansing, michigan
mar 6 -9th Edmonton, alberta.
I'm good any days that aren't listed here.
Sounds good to me... I'll be blogging on Thursday!! Oh and for Feb we will have two b-days (Maureen & Kelley)... we can make it a party.
When are Maureen and Kelley's birthdays? Shannon has a birthday book that will tell us everything we need to know about them based on astrology. the book says i am brilliant and influenced by flattery, so i think everything it says is true.
Butch certainly will be getting around. Coast to coast Butcher!
I'm not available on the following dates 2/2, 2/4, 2/10, 2/18, 2/24, 2/27. I'm game for any other dates.
Erika, icksnay on the irthdaybay. I'm hoping that if I don't acknowledge it this year it won't happen. The past few years I've tried to outrun it and hide in a tropical location or at least celebrate it (if I had to) with a tan. This year I'll just be hybernating and hiding from it. Since I think observing the 12th anniversay of my 25 birthday will be pushing it.
I didn't know Kelley's birthday was in Feb. too. I know Dan's is.
The Birthday Book will be available at the next book club!!! It tells everything from potential health issues to a motto for life on that day. If you are a skeptic, you have to read Butch's. His is the Day of Tragicomic Controversy. It's enough to make me believe. And I say Cupcakes are a must!!
Plan sounds fine to me! I'm very interested in what everyone thought about the Dahlia.
February is pretty open, I think.
Can't wait to see the birthday book. I went to an astrology party once and it was suggested I wear a helmet as I was prone to head injuries!

my birthday is july 21st. and shannon's is september 16th if i'm not mistaken. hey, kelley and maureen: was babe ruth really that good? (Mwahhhahahaha, twists mustache evilly)
We are doing Survivor by Chuck P. next. I lent my copy to the potentially new Kelly.
We are going to skip Lolita as a few folks have said that the book was creeping them out. Understandably so.
We'll have to replace Lolita and the end.
Adrienne- when is your b-day?

I didn't start Lolita but it's on my "all time should read" list so I might still give it a shot!
I admit it. I'll fess up I'm the one Lolita skeeved out. I can read about S&M, dismembered hoorers, lezzes, and missing internal organs... but can't read about daydreaming of fondling kids.
I'd love to look at the birthday book. I'm on the last day of Aquarius, everything I've ever read pegs me as looney, scientific, stand offish, out-there, lofty dreamer, self-sufficient and marching to the beat of my own drummer. Hummm I vaguely resemble that remark.
That explains a lot about Butch. Adrienne too! :oP LOL
I think we need to check everyones signs and see if we are all compatable! I love that freaky deaky kind of hocus pocus.
