Yup. They still have Steenhuis with his bright orange custom order shoes and 'fro, peeking out of the ear holes of his helmet. Quite the fashion statement! They still have the geezers of the team playing: Rich Kilgore & Johnny Tarvares. Last season Tarares set a legue record, and passed Gary Gait as the all time scorer. Our regular goalie for the past few years Steve (Chugger) Detriech had knee surgery in the off season our back up goalie (Thompson) has been playing outstanding. We won Friday against the NY Titans (expansion team this year) and lost on Saturday at Colorado Mammoth (who beat us in the championship last year). On the bright side of Saturday's loss, we lost by one point in sudden death overtime. Bandits games are supposed to be live on line at the B2 network. I also heard that Versus will be showing a few of their games.
We play the Swarm on Saturday at 7:00. Friday's home opener was sold out!!
