Snacks for book club
Let me know if anyone has any snack requests for the next book club... I know the Geisha snacks went over well...
we're also the sexiest book club in buffalo, ny aka the b-low, aka the queen city, aka the home of mighty taco. Our book club accepts UFC challenges from other book clubs. Our motto is: "i don't want to learn anything, i just want to read" (kelley and, oddly enough, Ghandi)

Fondue! Or as I like to say Fun-do. Or maybe a poo-poo platter or dim sum in honor of the Chinese theme. I can bring some Ruby Red (in going with the red scarf theme) Absolute and make a small batch (but not too much so we all end up sleeping it off on your floor the remainder of the weekend) as Steve and I dubbed them Mo-mo's. (which are basically a seabreeze with a kick)
I can make chinese noodle cookies!

And just because BC is on a Saturday it doesn't mean it's a slumber party...
Reality just came to visit me and... Sorry but no fondue... I don't have the pot but I do have a hyper little dog that could make things disastrous if we did have Fondue... Maureen we'll have to save that for when we have BC at your house.
I was just being a wise guy about the fondue. I don't have a pot either... any snacks are fine with me. Becasue it is on Saturday, I'll actually eat dinner first for a change.
i loved the dumplings from last time and the sushi. I'm not familiar with Chinese cuisine...hmmm i might have to do some reasearch. the poki was very good too. but the dumplings...mmm they was good eatin.
